“The arrest of Manish Jagan Agarwal, a Samajyadi party official, by Lucknow police is reprehensible and disgraceful. Police should release him immediately,” SP said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala accused Akhilesh Yadav of his comments, saying he was the same person who released the terrorists accused of the Varanasi bombing. “This is the level that Akilesh Ji has succumbed to this level. I’m Yadav Ji.”
