The West Philly shop offers gift her boxes inspired by Lewis and her cookbooks. Inside you’ll find a book, a coconut cake, a six ounce cup of quince jam, half a country loaf, and Tate’s original artwork. Sip all you need for a Christmas milkshake under the garlands, lights and fanciful decorations hanging from the ceiling of the Craftsman Row Saloon. Vanilla ice cream, eggnog, and crumbled gingerbread cookies, plus holiday-decorated cookies, lollipops, and green and red sour sticks sticking out on top for $17.
But if you want to drink, vodka, bay leaf, cranberry and lemon splashes are served in ornaments and poured into martini glasses. Order the Ornament-tini for $16.

What better way to start the winter solstice than with a sunrise hike? Bundle up and head to the Belmont Plateau at 7am on Wednesday. Veteran hiker Brad Moll guides you on this hike, watching the sun rise over the city skyline and looping around West Park (Meadows and Trolley Trail). Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and snacks. Tickets are $15 to $25. Note: We recommend wearing a mask. The park has ample parking space.
