What made you want to go into the food and beverage industry? I always wanted to work in an industry where the product meant to me. The food and beverage industry felt like a perfect fit. It’s a sector that has always stood out for me. I love sharing joy and special moments with people when food and drink are involved. is at the heart of our strategy and culture.
Describe your job in one (or two) sentences. As a project manager involved in digital transformation, my overarching goal is to understand and meet the ever-evolving needs and requirements of the business. My role is to make sure the organization is on track to achieve the goals we set. Teams need a lot of flexibility and agility. Needless to say, there will always be many challenges along the way.
What does a typical day look like for you? This consists of many communications with various stakeholders across the business, setting and coordinating plans, and attempting to anticipate and mitigate potential risks that may hinder the achievement of objectives.
Please tell me the process leading up to applying for a job. Initially, I started working at the Pernod Ricard headquarters in Paris. A year later, I joined the Absolut Company, where he has now worked for over three years. I was eager to join The Absolut Company because I wanted to experience working abroad while staying within the same group with the same values and culture that I love.
I never actually got the job I applied for. However, I was given the opportunity to take on another role on another team that had a vacancy. I don’t remember the specific questions, but they were more concerned with getting to know me as a person, why I applied for the role, and what they felt I could bring to the team. It felt very personal and unconventional.

What is the appeal of working at a food company? I really enjoy working in a business that produces tangible products that consumers can touch and taste. In addition to providing the product itself, I am proud to be part of achieving the broader company purpose of creating and enabling moments for people to enjoy and share with each other. This means a lot to me, and I think it means a lot to my colleagues.
And what is the biggest misconception people have about working in the food and beverage industry? The biggest misconception about the beverage industry is that people will drink alcohol anytime. This is not true. Working in the industry doesn’t mean you have to like to drink alcohol or consume products on a regular basis.
Do you have any advice for young people who want to enter the food and beverage industry? Look for companies and brands that inspire you. The best advice I can give is to work in an industry that really interests you. For me, having a genuine passion for the brand is key to being happy in my role and excited about my future career path. It is also important to keep Interest and a clear desire to learn puts you in an advantageous position.
What are your ultimate career dreams? I would like to continue enjoying life abroad, discovering new cultures, and learning from as many people as possible. In the long term, I might eventually start my own business, but that’s a long-term ambition.
