The Los Angeles Police Department has highlighted the “catastrophic” consequences of drunk driving after several officers were arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in recent weeks.
The department, which sent a warning note via email, told KNBC-TV’s I-Team that seven officers, including three officers who were allegedly found, were “suspected” of DUI or other alcohol-related incidents. said he was arrested. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Police Department also wrote in a memo that many of the arrests involved vehicle crashes that resulted in injuries.
