Aldi stores nationwide were thrown into chaos after the launch of Logan Paul and KSI’s “Prime” drinks this morning.
A former rival became a business partner and the Prime Hydration drink was first launched in the US.
The drinks are now available at Asda after they expanded into the UK market and announced a partnership with Premier League leaders Arsenal.
For a while, they were the only supermarkets to stock the beverage, but this week Aldi announced it will hit stores on December 29.
Inventories were limited and demand went through the roof. As a result, Aldi revealed that he has a limit of one of each flavor per customer.
Aldi said in a statement: All Specialbuys are discontinued while supplies last.
“Because of the expected high demand in supermarkets, purchase limits have been set for each variant on a customer-by-customer basis to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to purchase the product.”
Customers were queuing from early in the morning until 6am for four different drinks: Tropical Punch, Coconut Water, Lemon Lime and Blue Raspberry.
Drink ingredients include sugar-free, 10% coconut water, BCAAs, electrolytes and antioxidants.
Adults and children crammed outside the store waiting for Aldi to open at 8am. However, footage soon emerged of disturbing scenes, such as customers fighting over drinks as if they were his tickets.
According to the official Prime Tracker account, the drinks sold out within “5-10 minutes of opening” at Aldis across the UK.
