“Baby, it’s cold outside,” but the house just keeps getting warmer. Denby, a homeware and pottery brand, has ranked the most popular types of coffee in each US state.
There is no doubt that Americans love their coffee. According to popular coffee brand Dunkin’, the country is moving on even that.
According to Statista, the United States consumed over £3.3 billion of Java in 2019-2020.
Denby then used Google Trends to analyze popular methods of serving and brewing coffee to measure regional search interest from 2017 to 2022.
Christine Skalko, Digital Marketing Manager, Denby USA, said:
In Texas, iced coffee was the most popular type of drink, with coffee pods being the top method, according to the report. 40 people, coffee pods, and iced coffee and coffee pods were their favorite drink and brew.
Cold brew coffee, which is slow-brewed with cold water rather than hot brew, is the second most popular coffee, according to data, and is preferred in eight states.
In terms of brewing method, filter coffee ranked second in four states, followed by French press in three states.
Denby also found Hawaii to be the most coffee-obsessed state.
