Pembrokeshire Creamery New MDna
Former McQueen Dairy Operations Director Mark McQuade has been appointed Managing Director of Pembrokeshire Creamery.
He completes construction of a new liquid milk processing facility in Haverfordwest, Wales and joins the operation with a capacity to bottle over one million liters of milk per week.
McQuade has had an impressive career in the dairy industry with over 25 years of experience in many senior positions. Prior to joining McQueen’s, he worked at Medina Dairy, where he was the group’s commercial and business unit director, and at Graham’s Family Dairy, where he was the commercial director.
Commenting on his appointment, McQuade said:I am very much looking forward to joining the Pembrokeshire team. We aim to be the only BRC certified facility to offer bottled Welsh milk in Wales and the new facility has great potential.na

Appointment to Senior Position at Oterrana
Color supplier Oterra has appointed Mads Dehlsen Winther as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from April 2023.
He joined the group from HusCompagniet and has been the group’s CFO for the past four years.
Prior to that, he spent nine years with Maersk in various positions in finance, strategy, mergers and acquisitions and investments. During that time, he led the sale of the energy division alongside Maersk’s deputy chief executive.
He will be responsible for leading the company’s global finance, IT, legal and transformation teams.

The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) has appointed Prof. Appolinaire Djikeng as its new Executive Director and CGIAR Senior Director for Livestock-Based Systems.
Zikeng boasts over 20 years of experience leading global R&D programs in agricultural development, livestock development and human health.
He joins the group from the University of Edinburgh, where he was Professor and Chair of Tropical Agriculture and Sustainable Development.
