Studies have revealed the most effective time to drink coffee during work hours to help employees get the most out of their day.
A brokerage firm’s office space compiled results from over 2,000 coffee drinkers to find out when people drink coffee to stay alert the most.

Office Freedom research shows that workers are most productive around 10:20am and hit a wall at 1:27pm.
A poll of 2,000 employees found a further drop at 2:06 p.m. and continued to deteriorate throughout the afternoon.

To avoid productivity lag, 1:27 PM was the most effective time to have a cup of coffee.
According to Psychology Today, caffeine confuses receptors in your brain, tricking your body into thinking you have more energy than you actually do.
However, health experts warn that caffeinated beverages should be consumed in moderation to avoid negative or potentially harmful side effects.
High doses of caffeine can cause insomnia, headaches and heightened anxiety.
A study conducted by Norwegian scientists showed that certain types of coffee can be bad for your heart.
