Eagles-Giants game: Get into the spirit with these food and drink deals

Philadelphia is in trouble The Eagles playoffs and bars, restaurants, and other businesses are all on board. Here’s what we’re most excited about:

Tinsel takes off: Tinsel turned green. The popular holiday pop-up Her Bar is launching an Eagles-themed version this week at 116 12th St.

• Order signature cocktails such as ‘Hearts So Good’ and ‘Swole Batman’, seasonal beers and souvenir glasses.
• The bar is open every day during playoffs, with $5 cover from 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Free Hot Dog: Dietz & Watson is giving away a special “Bird Dog” at select locations today and tomorrow.

• The Bird Dog includes Dietz & Watson’s beef flanks with chopped long hot, provolone and crispy fried onions all in a green bun.

Playoff beer: Evil Genius has brewed a new IPA called ‘Playoffs!?’ — featuring orange and vanilla flavors that they describe as a “brain-free creamsicle.”

• The brewery has also brought back “Fly Like an Eagle,” a “wooder” ice-inspired milkshake-style IPA in two flavors. These beers are only available at the Fishtown taproom.

Green out: Skyscrapers and buildings around the city, including One Liberty Place, will be lit up for the Byrds.
