Dry January in Midland, The Buffalo Nickel offers alcohol-free drinks


The public health initiative ‘Dry January’ was launched in 2013 under Alcohol Change UK, a non-profit organization fighting for a harmless and safe drinking society. Over the past decade, the 31 Day Challenge has continued to grow, gaining partnerships around the world, including here in Midland.

The Buffalo Nickel crew will use four Lira non-alcoholic spirits in their cocktails: American Malt, Agave Reserva Spirit, Dry London Spirit and Dark Cane Rum, giving patrons a true alcoholic taste typically missed in mocktails. To do.

Old Fashioned Chai: 2 ounces of American malt, 0.5 ounces of chai syrup, 3 dashes of Angostura bitters.
