Not many people set foot on a cruise ship bound for some destination in the world.

Likewise, I have never been on a boat myself. In other words, it is a large ship that can travel for a long time. We’re not talking about canoes here, we mean the real thing.

I happened to taste a cocktail yesterday and Tsubomi was drooling with delight. It’s called Night Boat to Brazil.

A perfect drink for Christmas. It certainly gets a thumbs up from me!

As the name suggests, it makes you feel like you are on a boat to Brazil.

It is made with simple ingredients or a blend of several cordials and liqueurs. Or add half a thimble of Plain Orange Liqueur and half a thimble of Sagativa Pura.

All I know is that it was inspired by Brazil. Just one cup made me dizzy!

You can find this drink at Bulawayo’s famous Brazilian Steakhouse Carne Casa. If I may say so, they are very proactive when it comes to cooperating.

Since the launch of this column, Carne Casa was first profiled, and many establishments have a long list of cocktails to learn from.

..back on the night boat to Brazil, its purple color is of course derived from a mixture of cordials. Fruity flavors with floral notes derived from granadilla and grapefruit. Note that the lasses enjoyed it, but the youngsters also enjoyed it. Hooray.

“Sake is primarily enjoyed with friends. It is usually served in large bowls or alcohol towers.

“Once you put it in, you can take the socks off your shoes and sneakers, or if you’re a woman, you’ll know for sure that it wipes off all the makeup on your face,” joked George.

It’s a merry making drink that’s perfect for the coming season. Until next week goodbye and Merry Christmas.
