As moviegoers around the world flock to cinemas to see blockbuster sci-fi movies, Avatar: Path of WaterReleased this week, visitors to Tokyo Disney Resort are being treated to flavors from Pandora…and those flavors include a South African favorite, rooibos!
The resort’s chef has created exotic flavors and flavors that capture the fictional habitat of the Na’vi people. Their signature drink, inspired by Pandora’s Sea and Forest, mix of rooibos jelly, elderflower and passion fruit syrup, and cacao nibs sprinkled on top. You can even light up your drink to reflect the wonders of Pandora.
Adele Du Toit, spokesperson for the SA Rooibos Council (SARC), says rooibos never ceases to amaze them.
“This proudly South African product only grows in the unique biome of Cederberg in the Western Cape and has also captured the imagination of Disney Resort chefs who were briefed to capture the essence of Pandora.
