Disney Resort Celebrates Avatar with Special Rooibos Jelly Drink – SAPeople


As moviegoers around the world flock to cinemas to see blockbuster sci-fi movies, Avatar: Path of WaterReleased this week, visitors to Tokyo Disney Resort are being treated to flavors from Pandora…and those flavors include a South African favorite, rooibos!

The resort’s chef has created exotic flavors and flavors that capture the fictional habitat of the Na’vi people. Their signature drink, inspired by Pandora’s Sea and Forest, mix of rooibos jelly, elderflower and passion fruit syrup, and cacao nibs sprinkled on top. You can even light up your drink to reflect the wonders of Pandora.

Quench your thirst the Pandora way: This is a Pandora-inspired drink that visitors to Tokyo Disney Resort can sample during the first week of Avatar, Way of Water. One of the exotic flavors in the drink is none other than a South African favorite, rooibos. Drinks can also be lit up to reflect the wonders of Pandora, so patrons want a real treat.

Adele Du Toit, spokesperson for the SA Rooibos Council (SARC), says rooibos never ceases to amaze them.
