Television chef James Martin has described the Bolton Food and Drink Festival as one of the best – and now it’s official.
The four-day festival has been voted ‘Best Large Specialty Market’ in the UK.
Last year’s record-breaking Bolton Food and Drink Festival was named the best in the country at the prestigious awards show.
The Bolton Council team won the award for ‘Best Large Specialty Market’, a national title given by the Association of British Market Authorities.
The Great British Market Awards, held yesterday in Birmingham, recognize the positive and essential contribution local markets make to their local economies and communities.
