Beloved Southern chicken and biscuit chain Bojangles just launched a new drink and we can’t wait to try it. A hard tea made in collaboration with another North Carolina-based company, Appalachian Mountain Brewery (AMB). As the name suggests, this sweet tea isn’t just for kids. Instead, Bojangles’ delicious sweet tea combined with a little brew magic just might become your new favorite adult drink.

Bojangles Chief Brand and Marketing Officer Jackie Woodward said in a press release: “Partnering with AMB to make Legendary His Iced Tea into a Hard His Tea for fans of legal drinking age was a natural fit and the team put a lot of passion into the whole process. I can’t wait!”

“AMB couldn’t be more excited to work with such an iconic Carolina company,” added AMB Founder and Brewmaster Nathan Kerisek. “Bojangles’ sweet tea is a Southern staple, earning it its ‘legendary’ title.”

However, there is a trick to this sweet tea. Not available on Bojangles. That’s because Bojangles extends from restaurants to grocery stores. The new Bojangles Hard Sweet Tea will be available exclusively at participating retailers including Harris Teeter, Sheetz, Circle K, Spinx, Walmart, Food Lion, and other retailers in North and South Carolina.

It’s not available at restaurants, but we think it will be a must-have drink for your next tailgate. Grab a drink at Harris Teeter, then head straight to Bojangles’ drive-thru for Cajun chicken biscuits (preferably fish sandwiches), handcrafted biscuits, and Bo-tatos. An easy way to get the best spreads in the game. Come summer, Bojangles’ Hard His Sweet Tea is sure to keep you cool on your way to the lake.

Another reason to love Bojangles.
