But things took a turn for the better for Nelson, who received a gift from Arsenal aficionados and internet sensation KSI.
The midfielder shared a video showing him opening a box containing KSI’s Prime drink.
Nelson adds the caption, “Screaming KSI unaaa,” and we see five orange bottles stacked on top of each other.
You can also hear him referencing the viral Tiktok video as he said it out loud.
KSI teamed up with fellow YouTuber Logan Paul to create a new energy drink that was a sensation last year.
And Arsenal sells drinks at relatively cheap prices in the Emirates.
Last year fans could get a hot dog and an energy drink for £11.20.

The drink costs £25 more at other stores.
With Arsenal enjoying such a great season, Nelson wants to get more involved before the campaign ends.
He has only made two Premier League appearances so far but hopes to emulate the key positions of other Arsenal academy graduates Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah.
Meanwhile, KSI feels his sports career is going from strength to strength.
The YouTube star scored another crossover boxing victory over FaZe Temperrr earlier this month.
