A video has gone viral on social media showing an ambulance driver in Orissa preparing what appears to be alcoholic beverages for himself and a patient in his vehicle.

India Today Webdesk: An ambulance driver in Orissa stopped his car, offered an injured passenger a drink on the way to the hospital, and poured one for himself. A video of him making what looked like it went viral on social media.

The man parked his car on the side of a highway in the Tittle district and poured alcohol on the two men. In the video, an ambulance driver can be seen chugging down a drink, while a patient with a cast on his leg is sipping while lying on a stretcher.
The incident came to light on Monday after an onlooker took a video and uploaded it to social media. When confronted by the ambulance driver, he claimed the patient himself asked for a drink.
Dr. Kshetravasi Dash, Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) of Jagatsinpur told PTI:
Meanwhile, residents of the area are demanding an investigation into the incident and stricter action against the ambulance driver.
