The Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts Sprint Car Smackdown will pay out $30,000 to the winner of the 12th Annual Race on Saturday night, August 26th at Kokomo Speedway.
The prize pool for the 16th Annual Haubstadt Hustler has increased to $20,000 on Saturday night, September 16th at the Tri-State Speedway in Southwest Indiana.
A few weeks later, a $20,000 prize was posted at the Fall Nationals at Lawrenceburg Speedway on Saturday night, October 7th.
In addition, drivers can either ‘Win, Place or Show’ which is awarded to the best performing driver after the three events. A driver must win all three of his events to earn the $30,000 bonus. USAC also increased the points fund for the three Premier Circle Track Divisions during the 2023 season and increased the Triple Crown Awards. The USAC’s Premier Circle Track Division will offer base championship payouts of $50,000 to the top points drivers in the AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship, $30,000 in the NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship, and $20,000 in the Silver Crown.
If a driver wins two of the three championships in 2023, he or she can “double” the overall reward. For example, a driver who wins both the Sprint and Midget titles will receive a base reward of $80,000 ($50,000 for the Sprint and $30,000 for him in the Midget). Since 2019, USAC’s annual National Points Fund has increased 75% from a total of $200,000 to $350,000 next year in 2023.
